Shebekino is famous for its monuments of history, archeology and nature. Well-known local historian Nikolai Kuziulev and local lore specialists collected rich material for the future Folk Art Center, which was founded in 1991. These exhibits are now kept in Kupino Traditional Culture and Crafts Center.

Currently, there are 8 showrooms, a 19th century peasant courtyard, weaving and pottery workshops in the Center.
